At Predatours, we educate, inspire, and thrill. Where wildlife meets wonder and conservation drives every journey we lead.
At Predatours, travel is more than movement. It’s transformation. We exist to create world-class, unforgettable experiences that leave a permanent mark — the kind of memories that stay tattooed inside you for eternity.
Our journeys are designed to leave a permanent mark on everyone who joins. Our travellers don’t just go on holiday — they come back changed, carrying the kind of stories that make people lean in and listen.
We don’t believe in ordinary trips. Every Predatours experience is built around attention, adventure, and respect — for the land, the wildlife, and the communities we visit. You bring back stories, perspectives, and a part of the world that stays with you.

Travel should tug at your instincts. Our journeys lead to thrilling encounters — tracking predators at dawn, walking with Maasai elders through the conservancy, kayaking alongside whale sharks. You’ll experience the exhilaration of adventure alongside the wonder of discovery.
Predatours brings you closer to the natural world through real science — wildlife research, ecological studies, and conservation fieldwork. Every trip is intellectually enriching, making each journey as much about expanding your mind as exploring the landscape.
Every journey combines hands-on education with real-world discovery. From local history to environmental science, travellers don’t just visit — they learn, question, and grow while exploring some of the world’s most remarkable ecosystems.
To orchestrate and lead transformative journeys that showcase global wildlife and cultivate a commitment to conservation.
Predatours is committed to curating unforgettable wildlife experiences that educate and inspire our guests about conservation, while supporting sustainable tourism practices.
Our goal is to inspire every guest to become an advocate for wildlife — carrying forward the values of conservation, education, and respect for the natural world long after they return home.
From the savannahs of East Africa to the tiger reserves of India, the ancient forests of Japan, and the untouched coastlines of Mozambique and Madagascar — Predatours operates across multiple continents so you don’t have to worry about the logistics. We handle everything, end to end.
From luxury safari lodges and tented camps in the Masai Mara to boutique hotels in Rajasthan and traditional ryokans in Japan, we handpick every stay to match the destination and the experience. Comfort is never compromised, and every property is personally vetted by our team.
International and domestic flights, bush plane charters, airport pickups — all included. We coordinate every connection so your journey flows smoothly from the moment you leave home to the moment you return.

Since August 2016, André Botha is the Overarching Coordinator of the CMS Conservation Action Plan for African-Eurasian Vultures (Vulture MsAP) which was formally adopted by all 128 range states at the CMS CoP12 in Manilla, Philippines on the 28th of October 2017. The Vulture MsAP provides a 12-year framework for action to reverse the drastic population declines in a range of Old World vulture species, most of whom are currently listed as critically endangered. The drafting of the plan required input from and consulting with a substantial range of stakeholder groups, from international conventions, national governments, NGO’s, scientific and academic institutions and the private sector and was done in partnership between the CMS Raptors MoU, the Vulture Specialist Group of the IUCN Species Survival Commission of which Mr Botha is co-chair, BirdLife International and the Vulture Conservation Foundation. For further information, a summary of the Vulture MsAP can be located at
http://www.cms.int/en/document/summary-multi-species-action-plan-conserve-african-eurasian-vultures.
In addition, Mr Botha has more than 20 years’ experience in conservation law enforcement and anti-poaching operations and training and formed part of the team that drafted the first comprehensive field ranger training curriculums in the 1990’s in southern Africa. He filled the Conservation Training Portfolio for the Game Rangers Association of Africa between 1998 to 2008. He was elected as Chairman of the Association, a position he held until 2012. These training frameworks today form the core of most field ranger training conducted by the Southern African Wildlife College and other institutions and has been successfully used to also train rangers from several Asian countries such as Nepal, Myanmar, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.
In 1999-2000, he was also part of a team that drafted and implemented the first unit standards for the training of site-based specialist bird guides for southern Africa. More than 300 site-based and specialist guides were trained in the region between 2000-2004 and this training framework is still in use for the training and assessment of guides today. Since 2019, Mr Botha has also guided several raptor-focused tours with groups of up to 20 people in South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania.
He was employed with the Endangered Wildlife Trust, one of the largest conservation NGO’s in South Africa, between 2004-2025 and has been responsible for the management of their Vultures for Africa Programme, which promoted and supported the implementation of the CMS Vulture MsAP in 22 countries in sub-Sahara Africa. He also established the wildlife poisoning response protocol which has been used to train more than 7,000 law enforcement and conservation practitioners in 21 countries in Africa since 2015.

Italy
Born in Turin, Italy, in 1961, Paolo Torchio came to Kenya in 1990. A keen photographer since childhood, he was immediately captivated by the African wildlife and wilderness areas that he encountered and quickly made the country his home. He has lived and worked in Kenya ever since.
In this time, Paolo has travelled widely in Kenya, and – increasingly of late – in other parts of Africa as well, including Madagascar. His photography aside, he has played an active role in various wildlife conservation projects in Kenya, often in association with the Kenya Wildlife Service.
His photographs and articles documenting aspects of the region’s animal, bird and insect life have appeared regularly in Swara, the quarterly magazine of the East African Wildlife Society (EAWLS), where they are seen all over the world. Since 2005, Paolo has served on the Swara Editorial Committee, in which capacity he has completed various photographic and reporting assignments exclusively for Swara.
Paolo’s work has appeared in a host of other Kenyan wildlife and travel magazines, including Travel News, Kenya Birding, and About Kenya, as well as in some illustrious wildlife magazines elsewhere in the world, such as Oasis, in his native Italy, and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
2006 – Overall Winner of the East African Photographer of the Year Award.
The East African Wildlife Society’s 2007, 2010 and 2011 Calendars featured his work exclusively.
2009 – Inclusion in the prestigious Nikon Calendar 2009.
2010 – Inclusion in the BBC Wildlife Calendar 2010, and the same photo was awarded with the third price in the Italian Wildlife Championship 2009.
2010 – winner of the “Oasis” Italian Wildlife Photo competition 2010.
2011 – Overall Winner of the National Photographic Competition, of Civitella Alfedena, Italy.
2012 – Highly Honoured Winner in the Nature’s Best Photography Awards. Second Prize in the Oasis Wildlife Photo Contest.
2015, 2016, 2017 – Honourable Mention in Oasis Wildlife Photo Contest.
2018 – Winner of the Oasis Magazine Award.
2021 – Winner of THE GREATEST MAASAI MARA PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR.
2021 – Nominated KENYA WILDLIFE SERVICE HONORARY WARDEN.
He is an official Oasis Photographer and leads photographic workshops in Kenya.
He also works as the official photographer for IFAW Kenya.
Paolo is adamant that photography, through helping to publicize the plight facing some of Africa’s threatened wild species and habitats, has a decisive role to play in securing their long-term conservation. “My focus” he says, ”has increasingly become one, not just of taking exquisite photographs of wildlife in all its aspects, but one too of how best I can then use the images I take to help advance the conservation cause.”
Predatours and Paolo’s friendship spreads back to more than 15 years.
